Teaching at ECC Japan

Back at work!

May 9, 2009 · 2 Comments

It’s the third day back at work. I’m over the back to work blues, especially after yesterday. I had a very easy day two FTLs, a kids’ class and one junior high school class. I got a new student as well that settled right into the class and now the numbers are even, great for team games!

    If you don’t mind me asking, how is that a whole day? Did you have a free slot?

    2 ftls + breaks = 100 minutes
    1 kids = 60
    JH = 25

    185 minutes, 3:15, is that it? You are a lucky man, my shortest day is 3:40 of teaching, and that’s because it’s a split-shift!!

    It is the way the shift is set up and there was a substay. They took one of my ftls, and if I remember correctly I had an empty slot. Usually I would have 1 kEW, 3 FTLs, 1 Jr High, a private and OPPT.
