The arrest of Sahashi the ex-president was the talk of the day. If anything the collapse of NOVA has really taken its toll on the eikaiwa industry. Students continuously want reassurances that ECC is the right place to study.
I was talking to some colleagues about the Customer Surveys that ECC students fill out twice a year. Some interesting points were raised. A higher number of students have been ticking the average box than ever before. Why? Apparently the work “futsu” (average) is used. Someone pointed out that “futsu” is the word of the day. But more realistically are students expecting the schools to provide them with more these days.

How was your day? Nothing exciting to report! Though I guess I got lucky, one free…. but my co-worker had two- now that is lucky!
Though I think some people have had seen better days. The former president of NOVA, Sahashi was arrested today. About time is all I can say. But the big questions is when is he going to be prosecuted for failing to pay 5000 teachers.
